The First Annual Newport Pacific Jazz Festival kicks off August 27th and August 28th 2005 at The DragonRidge Country Club in Henderson, Nevada. The suburbs of Las Vegas.

The event will have world class jazz, art and dining. The DragonRidge Country Club has the finest view of the Las Vegas Valley that exists and because of it's height the weather is cooler than in the valley and the nights are spectacular.

Las Vegas First Friday Art Festival - Now in it's 6th year, the premier art festival for Las Vegas happens once a month on the first friday. Listen to poets recite their original works, see bands and other performance artists, as well as local fine artisans and crafters displaying and selling their work. This is a fun and amazing monthly event for the whole family. Free to enter, and lots of wonderful food vendors. Make sure you plan ahead with time and money for this one of a kind event.

The 6th Annual Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive, to be held on September 5th-7th, 2008, is an event which celebrates the exotic art and beauty of belly dancing. This local extravaganza includes 3 full days of workshops, 3 full evenings of entertainment, and features some of the top belly dance artists in the country as well as many talented local dancers and teachers. This event started as a small get-together that was organized by a local dancer and has now blossomed into an event that is attracting visitors from all over the world.
